This Cookie Policy explains how Founde LLC ("Founde", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) on founde.cc (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy. This Policy is designed to satisfy the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended) and the GDPR.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage and session storage, which store data directly in your browser.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required to operate the Service (authentication, session, security, load balancing, remembering your consent choice). These are set on the basis of our legitimate interest / contract performance and do not require consent. Examples: Supabase auth session, CSRF tokens, the founde.cookieConsent.v2 local-storage key.
Preferences
Remember choices you have made (language, layout). Set only when you interact with those features. Example: founde.lang in local storage.
Analytics (optional)
Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. These are only set with your prior consent. When enabled, we may load Google Analytics 4 in an IP-anonymised, consent-mode configuration. You can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Marketing (optional)
Cookies and pixels used to measure the effectiveness of outbound campaigns. These are only set with your explicit opt-in. If enabled we may load providers such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We do not currently run campaigns that require these to be on by default.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties integrated into the Service (for example, embedded video, podcast or link previews from external platforms). We do not control these cookies; please refer to those providers' policies.
4. Managing consent
When you first visit the Service from the EU / EEA / UK, we show a cookie banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies by category. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Your selection is stored in local storage under the key founde.cookieConsent.v2 and is applied to all scripts and requests loaded by the Service. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies globally — see, for example, the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
5. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We do not use cookies to sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. Where technically feasible we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of optional cookies.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision, and the change log below records material updates.
